Bar and pie charts at work: no more please

The world revolves around the 5 senses and sometimes the 6th. I say sometimes because if it was important there would be a tableau solution for seeing dead people — visualized.
It has become a curse because it is so easy to do and people do not understand that they should not be doing what is easy and what is easily reproduced.
Moreover, visuals only matter if there is a trend to it and the trend updates rather frequently — This has only made sense to me in the last 2 years that I started to dabble with the stock market.
Anything else is rubbish because just key numbers (in huge bold text) would be enough to give the required information for decision making.
I am a rebel without a cause and will continue to be.
